Check Point offers certifications of two types , one is security certifications and the other is specialist certifications. CCSPA is one of the certification available in security domain from checkpoint.

CCSPA is a entry-level certification that is designed for individuals with limited security experience, and the exam tests an individual's proficiency in security fundamentals, concepts, and best practices.

As a CCSPA security professional, one should have basic knowledge of security issues, risk management, business recovery strategies, the nature of intrusions and attacks and the fundamentals of cryptography. They are responsible for implementing and enforcing an organization's security policies, recognizing network security threats, and recommending security solutions to meet business needs.
