ITF+ covers IT Concepts and Terminology infrastructure, applications and Software, software development concepts, database fundamentals and security.  


The CompTIA® A+ 220-1101 examination measures necessary competencies for an entry-level IT professional with the equivalent knowledge of 9 to 12 months hands-on experience in the lab or field. Successful candidates will have the knowledge of mobile devices, networking technology, hardware, virtualization and cloud computing and network troubleshooting. CompTIA A+ 220-1102 covers installing and configuring operating systems, expanded security, software troubleshooting and operational procedures.

Installation and setup, Upgrading, Repairs, Troubleshooting, Maintenance of desktops, laptops, printers, and all other peripherals. Plus, needed to fully understand the network configurations and operating systems users might be utilizing. And also the setup, training of users in the use of systems, as well as Software related tasks.
 
Software related responsibilities may include: installation of software packages, upgrade and update of software, troubleshoot application and system errors, advice users on software use, train users, writing of training/user manuals, overseeing PC usage and so on.
