About Check Point Certified Managed Security Expert NGX (CCMSE NGX) 156-815:

CCMSE NGX is one of the advanced certifications available.CCMSE NGX, is designed specifically for security professionals managing multiple Check Point VPN-1 implementations using the Provider-1 Internet security solution. 

This certification tests an individual's expertise in implementing multiple VPN-1 enterprise-security solutions, and deploying Provider-1 in a Network Operations Center environment as a centralized Policy management solution

To obtain CCMSE  NGX , three exams are  to be passed. They are:

  1. 156-215.1
  2. 156-315.1
  3. 156-815

 

Exam Objectives (brief):

  1. Provider-1 NGX components

  2. Customer Log Module (CLM) 

  3. Remote-management communication process

  4. Minimum system requirements for installing the MDS

  5. Standard and point-of-presence configurations

Exam Duration: 

Check Point exams are for a duration of 90 minutes for US, UK, S.A. and several other countries

Passing Score: 

Not Available

Exam Format: 

Linear format as of now. The exams are composed of multiple choice and scenario questions.

Location: 

Check Point exams are offered through Pearson VUE in 3500 locations worldwide. Please check with Pearson VUE website for available in your country/location.

Price: 

Exams vary in price between US $150-$200.

Prior requirements: 

There are no prior requirements for taking the exam. But, candidates are expected to have 6 months to 1 year of experience in related field.

Exam Validity: 

All CCSEs earned on Check Point NG with Application Intelligence will remain current until the next major release of Check Point NGX.
