Check Point Certified Specialist -Connectra(CPCS-Connectra) 

Check Point offers certifications of two types,one is Security certifications and the other is Specialist certifications. 

CPCS-Connectra is one of the Specialist Certification and  are designed for security professionals who want to focus on specific Check Point technologies or products, and achieve recognition as a certified Check Point expert by demonstrating in-depth knowledge and proficiency.

Professionals who earn Check Point Certified Specialist - Connectra certifications should have a proven understanding of the basic concepts and skills necessary to successfully configure and manage the Connectra Security Gateway and  good  knowledge in all networking and security features as well as remote-user accessibility to corporate applications.

The required exam to be taken is 156-703.

 

Exam Objectives(Brief):

1. Connectra server-side and client-side security features

2. DMZ and LAN deployment.

3. Configure SSL Network Extender for Network and Application Modes

4. Configure Web data compression

5. Define and configure protection-level settings,internal and external user groups

6. LDAP, RADIUS, and SecurID servers and user groups

7. Configure a Citrix service

8. Configure Web Intelligence protection

9. Configure a remote log server

10. Troubleshoot an LDAP error message using logged data

Check Point exams are for a duration of 90 minutes for US, UK, S.A. and several other countries

Linear format as of now. The exams are composed of multiple choice and scenario questions.
