PSAT/NMSQT - Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test

Overview :

PSAT/NMSQT test is administered by ETS on behalf of the College Board and National Merit Scholarship Corporation (NMSC). It enables students to practice for the SAT Reasoning Test and serves as the qualifying test for national merit scholarship competitions.

The PSAT/NMSQT is a standardized test that provides first hand practice for SAT and it measures critical reading, math, and writing skills that are important for success in college. Critical reading and math sections test a student's ability to reason with facts and concepts; the multiple-choice writing skills component assesses communication skills.
